History |
|
Founded
in 1970, LINTECH started
manufacturing single (SA series) and dual (TRSA series) shaft
assemblies. Used in a wide range of manufacturing
applications, these products led to LINTECH 's
first standard screw driven positioning table in 1980. Since that
time, LINTECH has
introduced over 14 other standard positioning tables. Belt or screw
driven, these tables can be interfaced to any step motor, or servo
motor, system. LINTECH is
constantly designing new positioning components and systems for the
many new application demands that are being created every day.

Standard
Positioning Components
|
|
Positioning
components consist of round rail shaft assemblies, linear bearings,
and ball screw assemblies. Shaft assemblies are provided in
single and dual rail versions, with diameters from 0.5 inch (12 mm)
to 2.0 inch (50 mm) and lengths to 192 inches (4800 mm). The
single shaft assemblies (SA series), along with linear bearings (SLBO
& DLBO), are typically used when the mechanical designers wish
to spread apart the SA series and make their own custom carriage
assembly. The dual shaft assemblies (TRSA series) and carriage
assemblies (TRCA series) are utilized when ease of installation is
of essence. The pre-aligned shafts on the TRSA series and the
pre-aligned linear bearings on the TRCA series allow the user to
quickly mount the components in their system.
Ball screw assemblies are offered in 3 different product groups
- Rolled (RS series), Precision (PS series) and Ground (GS series).
These assemblies provide the mechanical designer a finished sub
assembly for their screw driven application. Each product
group offers numerous diameters, leads, and lengths along with
either simple, fixed or rigid end supports. |

Standard
Positioning Systems |
|
Positioning
systems consist of a linear bearing and mechanical drive system
(either a screw or a belt) into a finished product ready for the
mounting of a motor & control system. LINTECH offers
several different models with load capacities from 1 lbs. (1 kg) to
16000 lbs. (7200 kg). With numerous options within every model
series, these systems are used in numerous applications. |

Custom
Systems |
|
LINTECH also
provides custom positioning components and systems. Realizing
that sometimes standard products do not meet an application
requirements, our engineers can provide a custom solution. We
evaluate your special application, use our many years of experience
to guide you, and then manufacture a quality system designed to meet
your performance specifications.
